Los Heraldos Negros is a kind-of-instrumental, kind-of-not, trio formed in 2026 from my itch to perform with other musicians after a 15 year gap of not having played with a band, 2 of the most recent years writing/performing in my solo project, Yupanki. Sonically, this is a chase after bigger, heavier, and faster sounds.

The band name? It’s after the Peruvian poet César Vallejo’s suite of poems of the same name.
