Un Lugar Lejos - EP
The 2022 debut EP of my music project Yupanki, "Un Lugar Lejos" conjures loop-based guitar arrangements through a range of effects, stacking layers of sound that weave in and out of an unspoken narrative.
The music, often described as cinematic, accompanies the story of the titular character Yupanki - a wanderer with no memory of his past. It explores themes of self discovery and inner strength, connections to nature, as well as what it means to belong.

A print of a watercolor painting from 2019 that ended up serving as inspiration for Yupanki, both musically and as the character for the story.
Print is 6x8, limited to an edition of 50 and signed.
